Our Yoga Styles

Vinyasa Yoga

A dynamic and energising yoga flow connecting breath with movement. Vinyasa helps improve strength, flexibility, balance, and focus while creating heat and energy in the body. This style is perfect for guests looking for a more active practice that leaves both body and mind feeling refreshed and recharged.

The word vinyasa comes from Sanskrit and loosely translates to “to place in a special way.” In practice, this means each movement flows seamlessly into the next, guided by the rhythm of your breath. Inhale to rise, exhale to fold, inhale to open. Your breath becomes the metronome that carries you through the entire practice.

Unlike more static styles of yoga, vinyasa keeps you moving. Classes typically weave together standing poses, balancing sequences, forward folds, twists, and floor-based postures into one fluid journey. No two classes are exactly the same, which means your body and mind stay engaged and curious throughout.

Yin Yoga

A slower and deeply relaxing practice focused on releasing tension and improving flexibility through long-held stretches. Yin yoga helps calm the nervous system, improve mobility, and create deep relaxation, making it especially beneficial after surfing or active days exploring Bali.

The practice is rooted in the Taoist concept of yin — the passive, cooling, receptive side of life. Rather than engaging muscles dynamically, yin yoga targets the deeper connective tissues of the body: the fascia, ligaments, tendons, and joints. These tissues respond best to gentle, sustained pressure held over time, which is exactly what yin yoga provides.

Expect a relaxation that calms your nerves and mind, and fully let go of your stress.

Hatha Yoga

A balanced and mindful yoga practice focused on posture, breathing, and body awareness. Hatha classes move at a slower pace and are suitable for all levels, creating the perfect space to build strength, improve flexibility, and reconnect with yourself through conscious movement.

The word hatha comes from Sanskrit: ha meaning sun and tha meaning moon. This duality sits at the heart of the practice — the balance between effort and ease, strength and softness, movement and stillness. A hatha class is not about pushing harder or flowing faster. It is about finding steadiness, building awareness, and learning to move with intention.

Hatha yoga is a well balanced yoga that is a great yoga style for many yogi.

Restorative Yoga

A calming and supportive practice designed to help the body and mind fully relax and recover. Using gentle poses and moments of stillness, restorative yoga encourages deep relaxation, stress relief, and recovery while creating a sense of balance and calm.

Unlike most forms of yoga, restorative yoga asks almost nothing of your muscles. Instead, it uses props such as bolsters, blankets, and blocks to fully support the body in each pose, allowing every muscle group to let go completely. There is no effort here, no stretching to push through. Just the quiet work of allowing the body to open at its own pace.

Mobility & stretch

Focused on flexibility, posture, mobility, and recovery, these classes are especially beneficial for surfers and active travellers. Through targeted stretches and mobility exercises, the body can release tension, improve movement, and recover more easily after surf sessions or long travel days.

This is practical bodywork. The kind that makes a real difference to how you feel getting out of bed in the morning, how your shoulders open up when you paddle, and how quickly your legs recover after a long day in the water or on your feet.
