Our surf instructors are a group of fun and passionate surfers from Bali - their love for surfing blossomed since they were kids. They have a wealth of experience in teaching and love to guide you in the water!

Under the guidance of ISA certified head coach Putu, all our surf guides are highly trained and educated. A new generation of young guides is in training since 2018 at Pelan Pelan to became a part of our growing surf crew!

Putu started surfing when he was 14 years old. When the waves are barreling, Putu has the most fun in the water. His favourite manoeuvres are top turn and cutback. Putu’s knowledge about the ocean is impressive, he will find the exact right wave at the exact right spot for you. You will easily improve your surfing!

RINOSurf Instructor
Rino started surfing when he was 15 years old. At 18 years of age, he started working as Pelan Pelan’s youngest surf guide in 2018. His passion for surfing is what makes him a motivated and curious learner. He really understands his students, and will improve your surf level in such a fun way. We love seeing him grow, as a person and surf instructor, every day!

Komang is a great surf teacher. He is very patient and caring in and out of the water. He will help you improving your surf level in no time. He is super fun, always positive, and you will feel very safe with him in the water.

Alit started an internship with us while studying 'housekeeping'. However, instead of cleaning the floor, he chose to share his passion for what he loves the most: surfing. He turned out to be an amazing surf teacher in no time. His passion for surfing and happy personality will make it so much fun to learn surfing (better) with him.
